Pre-Requisites
An application for admission to the School of Dental Medicine may be filed after completing at least 60 semester hours, or the equivalent, of collegiate courses, exclusive of physical education and military training. All requirements must be completed before enrollment. Approximately 75% of our entering students begin with an earned baccalaureate degree or beyond. Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete their baccalaureate degree prior to enrollment in dental school.

** This amount of student health insurance may be waived with proof of adequate health coverage. All students have access to the on-campus health service even if the insurance is waived.
Ohio law require that all dental students be vaccinated against hepatitis B. Students who cannot provide evidence of such immunization will receive the vaccination from the University for an additional fee of $180.
