HOTEL RESERVATION INFORMATION
Where should we stay?

The School of Dental Medicine is holding a limited number of rooms for alumni at the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland at a special alumni rate of $149 per night - a significant savings! Arrange your accommodations directly with the Ritz-Carlton and be sure to indicate that you are with the School of Dental Medicine Reunion Weekend 2008. You can call in your reservation or make it via their website at www.ritzcarlton.com enter DTMDTMA in the group code box to receive the special rate. Please make your reservations early -- the discounted rate is available until May 2, 2008. If you are planning an extended stay in Cleveland around Reunion Weekend ’08, contact the hotel directly to check the availability of the discounted rate for additional days. The Cleveland Marathon is the same weekend as our Reunion Weekend 2008. From our experience with past reunions, hotel rooms were harder to get as reunion weekend approached. Our room block has sold out as did most of the other downtown hotels. Please make your reservations now. Use your credit card to hold your room so you are not blocked out from the Ritz-Carlton. Don’t delay!
EVENT RESERVATION INFORMATION
All event reservations for Reunion Weekend 2008 must be received by Friday, May 2, 2008. The registration brochure will be mailed out in February 2008 to reunion year classes. Call the Alumni Relations Office at (877) 468-1436 if you do not receive your brochure.
I’m not in a reunion class. Can I still attend the weekend?
Of course. Alumni from all classes are encouraged to participate in Reunion Weekend.
How can I download a copy of the Reunion Weekend Schedule and Events and Registration Form?
A copy of the full event schedule along with the registration form can be found under Registration Brochure.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Please make all cancellation requests prior to May 9, 2008 for a full refund. Refunds will be processed after Reunion Weekend. Please contact us at (877) 468-1436.
TRANSPORTATION
What if I don’t want to rent a car?
If you don't want to rent a car - you don't need to! The RTA Rapid Transit system runs from inside Cleveland Hopkins Airport with a direct route and drop-off inside Tower City. You only need to go up two floors to enter the Ritz-Carlton. From the Ritz-Carlton, we'll offer transportation to the University on Saturday.
How can I get to campus for the Saturday school tour and lunch if I am not driving?
From the Ritz-Carlton, we will offer transportation for attendees staying at the hotel to the University for the school tour and lunch.
PARKING
Where do I park?
The Ritz-Carlton offers valet parking for Friday evening (Welcome Back Reception) at their West Third Street entrance. The Renaissance Hotel offers valet parking on Saturday evening (Cocktail Reception and Gala Awards Dinner) at their Public Square entrance. There is parking in the Tower City parking lot for both Friday and Saturday evenings: the entrance is on Huron Road. Campus parking is in the Health Sciences garage on the ground level of the Dental School. The entrance is on Circle Drive. There is a fee for each of these options.
DIET & SPECIAL ACCOMONDATIONS
Who should I contact if I have special dietary needs?
Please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at (877) 468-1436 or dentalalumni@case.edu regarding any special dietary needs. Please indicate any special needs along with any dietary restrictions on the registration form.
All of our events and activities have been considered accessible for those who may have any handicap issues. Please advise us of any special needs prior to the weekend.
ATTIRE
How should I dress?
Cleveland's weather can be a bit unpredictable, so be sure to bring a jacket. Business casual attire is appropriate for most events. However, you may want to consider dressing up a bit for the Gala Awards Dinner on Saturday night.
