Welcome to a different kind of dental school experience. We have created a curriculum to address important issues in dental education. The faculty is committed to this new program that we believe is more engaging, interactive, and satisfying for all. Join the new pathway to dentistry! -Dean Jerold S. Goldberg

The faculty of the School of Dental Medicine have created an exciting, new path to the profession of dentistry. The new curriculum is grounded in principles that exemplify educational formats embracing experiential learning, which solidify student learning.

Key features of the new curriculum include:

- Small group learning environment where students retain responsibility for learning
-Preservation of independent learning time and time for integration and reflection about learning
-Commitment to creating a culture of inquiry
-Learning experiences that integrate multiple content areas in intense, powerful learning scenarios within the School and the community
-Development of student sensitivity to the needs of the individual, the community, and society
-Student growth as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team member

I am excited about the changes occurring at Case. I was a part of the change and the planning of the new curriculum. It is exciting to see these innovative ideas develop into a plan that is being implemented. -Case Dental Student
