Epidemiologic methods and principles
Research Interest:
Treatment effectiveness and health outcomes, access to care and disparities associated with
socioeconomic status including race/ethnicity and gender, oral health disparities among high-risk populations, misclassification bias
and missing data issues in the investigation of the association between oral
health and systemic health (i.e., glycemic control in adults with diabetes
and heart disease) with a focus on tobacco use.
