Current Research
1. Xylitol for Caries Prevention in Inner City Children A clinical trial aimed at investigating the short and long term effectiveness of xylitol intervention on preventing dental caries in East Cleveland Kindergarten school children followed through second grade.
2. Longitudinal Study of Dental Caries in VLBW Infants To investigate the relationship between birth weight and Early Childhood Caries, and to study the relationship looking at enamel defects and socio-behavioral variables in a cohort of VLBW and NBW infants.
