Dr. Ferretti is Professor and Chair of the Pediatric Dentistry Department and Chief of Dentistry at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. He earned his D.D.S. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., a G.P.R. from Southbury Training School and Hospital for the Handicapped (Southbury, CT), a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, a NRSA Fellowship, and an M.D.S. from the University of Connecticut, and a Certificate in Medical Management and M.P.H. from the University of Kentucky. His research interests include Longitudinal Study of Dental Caries in VLBW Infants and Xylitol for Caries Prevention in Inner-City Children.
Dr. Freudenberger is an Associate Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry Department. She earned her D.D.S. at New York University College of Dentistry in New York City, a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, and a Certificate in Advanced Dental Study G.P.R. with a concentration in Pediatric Dentistry from Jerusalem Luba Slome Dental Center in Jerusalem.
Dr. Heima is an Assistant Professor Pediatric Dentistry Department. He earned his D.D.S. and Ph.D. as well as completing a Residency Program in Pediatric Dentistry and G.D.R. at Okayama University in Japan.
Dr. Malik is an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry Department. She earned her dental degree (B.D.S) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India and a Master's in Health Administration (M.H.A) degree at University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. Her research interests include Longitudinal Study of Dental Caries in Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW) Infants, Caries Prevention and Education, and Craniofacial Abnormalities.
