The practice of pediatric dentistry is varied and dynamic. The Case Western Reserve University program provides a full range of clinical experiences in pediatric dental care. The curriculum is designed to assist the pediatric dental resident in developing a knowledge foundation and clinical skill level that will allow successful entry into practice. Pediatric dental residents are on call every fourth week during their two-year training program.
A research requirement must be fulfilled for certification in pediatric dentistry. Students enrolled in the M.S.D. program must complete a formal thesis.
