Restorative Fellowship Program:
The restorative fellowship provides 12months of training in clinical and didactic Restorative and implant dentistry. This is a non-accredited fellowship. The program is sponsored by the AEGD department and is directed by the Chairman of the Department. The fellowship is considered a full-time program of study due to the combination of didactic and clinical practical hours. This program is not eligible for financial aid.
The clinical component consists of a laboratory portion and clinical portion. The clinical portion consist of observing and assisting the AEGD residents during their clinical duty and a patient care portion that will commence only after it has been determined that the clinical skills performed on the laboratory typodont have been satisfactorily completed. The patient care portion consists of care of patients deemed appropriate for the fellow in training.
The fellow’s progress will be evaluated quarterly by the assigned mentor. Upon satisfactory completion of the program, the fellow will receive a certificate of completion.
Requirements for Admission for the Restorative Fellowship Program:
Candidates must have a DDS degree or its equivalent and foreign graduates are encouraged to apply. An application must be received with a $145 non-refundable application fee at http://dental.case.edu/graduate/payfee.
Candidates selected are eligible to enroll in didactic coursework. Each fellow will design their course of study in consultation with his/her assigned mentor in the Department of a Fellowship in Dentistry.
