Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2018

October 11-14, 2018‌

‌Dental school may seem like ages ago or it may feel like just yesterday that you were walking through the school on your way to class. Regardless of how you, and the world around you, has changed since graduation, your college experience is etched into your memory.

‌Your Alumni Association invites you to come home to CWRU for Homecoming and Reunion, which pays tribute to the unique CWRU experience. Join dental school alumni, and alumni from the entire university, for a dynamic weekend to see what has changed, what new things the dental school has to offer, and to catch up with classmates and friends you may not have seen since the day you graduated. Homecoming and Reunion isn’t just for reunion classes—all members of our alumni community are welcome to come back to campus. We hope that you will accept our invitation to return, reconnect and reminisce at Homecoming and Reunion, and that you will spread the word to your classmates and friends.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Keep up with all Homecoming and Reunion news and events by liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter!

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is happy to assist those celebrating a reunion year (class ending in 3 or 8) with planning a reunion event to be held during the weekend.

Here are just some of the things we can do for you:

  • Help promote your reunion event by publishing information on our website
  • Coordinate mailings and provide mailing materials
  • Offer ideas for locations (we handle arrangements if held at host hotel)
  • Coordinate having Dean Kenneth Chance attend your event
  • Assist in planning class gifts for reunion giving

The success of Homecoming and Reunion depends in large part on the active participation and commitment of Class Representatives. Reunions are typically promoted by a committee of class volunteers. In the past, classes have found that having large, active committees not only makes reunion promotion run smoothly, but also encourages more involvement in Homecoming.

The staff in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations is available throughout the reunion planning process to assist you. Their goal is to work with Class Representatives to ensure a fun and successful reunion.

To volunteer, contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 216.368.5758 or email

Celebrate Your Legacy

Reunions are a special time to celebrate your achievements and reflect back on your time as a dental student. You are a part of our storied past, and you can help shape the days to come for our students. The Reunion Giving Challenge asks alumni celebrating a reunion in 2018 to make a gift to the School of Dental Medicine.

Whether it’s by…

  • Contributing to your class scholarship fund
  • Joining the Partners in Progress (PIP) program
  • Including the School in your will
  • Creating a permanent fund to honor someone important to you

All graduates – including those unable to come back to campus – who are celebrating a reunion are asked to make a gift in any amount and to any designation. Graduating classes who reach participation and fundraising milestones will be recognized at our reunion celebration, so please do your part to help “pay it forward” to future generations of CWRU dentists.

To make your reunion gift,

please contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at (877) 468-1436,

make your gift online at,

or mail your gift to our office at

School of Dental Medicine, 10900 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106-4905.

or via text by following the instructions in the video below using #dental.

Your gift has the ability to truly make a difference.

Congratulations on your reunion and thank you for your support!
