Early intervention is the most important factor in dentistry. Our Pediatric Dental Clinic focuses on patients from birth through age 16. A child is not healthy if his or her mouth is not healthy. Dental disease can be extremely painful and costly if it is not treated, and may lead to other serious lifelong health problems. We want your child to have the most positive dental experience we can provide.
Days/Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Pediatric Dental Clinic is located on the ground floor of the CWRU School of Dental Medicine, which is located on the corner of Abington and Cornell Rd. The front entrance to the clinic is off of Abington. Parking is available on the ground floor of the clinic, with the entrance off of Circle Drive. The University provides directions to campus if you're coming from a distance. Alternatively, you can enter your address to get directions from Google Maps.
Patients are required to pay for their treatment at each appointment. We accept cash, check, debit or credit cards (MasterCard or Visa). We also accept most Medicaid. As a courtesy to our patients, we will submit a claim to most dental insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance information with you to your visit.
The Pediatric Dentistry Department:
Our Pediatric Dental Clinic focuses on patients from birth through 16 years of age. We want your child to have the most positive dental experience we can provide. Our faculty, residents and staff are specially trained in working with children and their families and our dental students are taught to provide dental services to children. Together, we strive to provide an atmosphere that is friendly and supportive to our child patients and their families.
The patient care providers in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry are committed to excellence in providing dental health care to your children. We make every effort to provide the best possible learning environment for the dental professionals who train at the CWRU School of Dental Medicine. We value the ethnic, cultural and social diversity of our patients.
Pediatric Dentistry provides basic dental care for children and adolescents. We seek to serve patients and their families courteously, promptly and with dignity. Child patients will be seen by either dental students or graduate students, all with the supervision of professional educators.
