Sponsored by the Cleveland Foundation
Project Period: July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2014
The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine has a rich history as a research-intensive institution and continues to be an international leader in the generation of new knowledge and treatment modalities to improve oral health. The school places a high priority on research as it is a central component of excellence in student instruction and patient care. For nearly two decades, Dean Jerold Goldberg, DDS has propelled the school forward with strategic plans for capital improvements and investments in outstanding clinical and research faculty. However, the most immediate need in the School of Dental Medicine's plans for expansion is the renovation of its thriving Community Dental Clinic. Funding support from the Cleveland Foundation will be used for renovation of the existing on-campus dental clinic in order to better serve the community as well as the school's students and faculty.
